MAGIA VEGETAL

Magia Vegetal propõe uma investigação sensível sobre os múltiplos modos pelos quais as plantas foram, ao longo do tempo, reconhecidas como portadoras de forças que atravessam o espiritual, o terapêutico, o técnico e o científico. As imagens desta série buscam evocar um campo de relações no qual o vegetal aparece como mediador entre mundos, saberes e temporalidades. Em práticas religiosas e espirituais, as plantas operam como canais de comunicação, proteção, cura e transformação, ativadas por rituais que envolvem gestos, palavras, ritmos e intenções, onde a eficácia não reside apenas na matéria, mas na rede simbólica e cosmológica que a sustenta. Nas tradições médicas e terapêuticas populares, a magia vegetal se manifesta como conhecimento incorporado, transmitido pela oralidade e pela prática, em que chás, banhos, benzimentos e infusões articulam corpo, afeto, memória e cuidado. Já no campo técnico, ela emerge no fazer cotidiano do cultivo, do manejo da terra e da atenção aos ciclos naturais, revelando um saber relacional que se constrói na convivência prolongada com organismos vivos. In the technical realm, it emerges through the everyday practices of cultivation, land management, and attention to natural cycles, revealing a relational form of knowledge built through prolonged coexistence with living organisms. Even within modern science, oriented toward classification, experimentation, and analysis, magic persists as that which escapes total control: the complexity of ecosystems, the distributed intelligence of plants, and their forms of communication, adaptation, and cooperation.
